you can also try around the higher end used car dealership's and ask them they might have a key guy that comes out to them or they go to when they need keys made or progrrammed
also i think sewell lexus the one that gives our members of Club Lexus discounts i think thats the name of the dealer if you get on there website and order form them i think i saw a price of 175 for a new key then you can go to the dealer that told you 30 minutes and pay them for there half hour to program it if thats what they said

hi
I opened the current key that I've in hand and I've got this number in the circuit board
271451-3370
5/12
When I searched ebay I found some keys that have the same first 6 numbers(271451) but there is a difference in the remaining 4 numbers.
In addition, they have ( I mean keys found in ebay ) the same FCC ID and IC ID
so my question is : does the key that I need to buy must have identical circuit board number with the one that I have in hand currently or that does not matter but the FCC and IC numbers are the main factors ??
kindly give me urgent feedback since the auction in ebay will end soon

Just received my Consumer Reports and it actually has an article in it this month regarding keyless fobs.
One online place they used was keylessride.com
On their site I found a fob for a 2010 ES at this link http://www.keylessride.com/order/quo...&frid=72E0DB67
Here's another link for a search on "Lexus key programming" http://www.google.com/search?q=lexus...%20programming
Now, is this less painful than going to a dealer and ordering one is entirely debateable.
