Default dropping roof panel

Hi, would any have instructions on how to drop the roof panel on a 2007 ultra - luxury....have an annoying "cracking soon" at the top front area of the sunroof. It does not appear to be the sunroof as I still get the sound when the roof is open and I'm going over an uneven area...say driveway onto the road. I would like to have a look but don't want to damage the air curtain bags. Thanks in advance.
