Default tinting ?

Hi i was wondering
i have a 07 es350 with Navigation
i want to get my Windows tinted and going to tintworld to have it done
they have several packages
and like always
all sales men try to upgrade you
they told me that i needed the package that cost the most not those exact words but they want me to pay almost 300 for window tinting because
its the best tint and doesn't interfiar with the antenta radio or gps signals
is this something really that i need to look out for
i don't plan on getting the cheap 99.99 tint job but i wasn't planing on 300 either
i was going to get
there 2nd level tinting which was going to be like 200

so really do i need to worry about tint that has no metal in it or anyhting to interfiar with ?
will it really affect that navigation where is the GPS antena located at is it even inside the car where the tint would affect it ?

thank you

No concerns, you can tint it.... The main thing to watch out for is film quality... Cheap film will get you 1 year without discoloration and then you are looking at UV damage and it going purple... Good film brands won't discolor and will outlive your car... This is usually reflected in the price

Ok cool yeah they use a 3m tint and its laser cut what ever that means

I just was worried that the good stuff but not the best would interdict with the GPS antena and radio signal

Thank you

I think the one I want has a 5 year warranty they give with it

If you go to the 3M web site they probably give the performance characteristics of each of their tints. It might shed some light on which is best for avoiding interference with GPS, radio etc.

What you just want to avoid is a metallic window film as it will tend to block/reflect signals. You will also probably not want to go with the cheapest as most will bubble or turn purple after a period of time. It depends on the brand and line of the tint. Each will have their own characteristics. If the prices in CA are comparible to FL around ~200 is where you want to be for a non bubbling/purple tint.
