Bluetooth phone conversations on the '07 non-ML
So I've had my '07 for almost 4 weeks now. I have re-initialized the non-ML audio system erasing the phone book and phone pairing details left from the previous owner.
My iPhone 5 pairs no problem, and I really like the convenience of answering calls with the button on the steering wheel.
The situation I have is that I am not totally satisfied with the incoming voice audio quality. The caller's voice sound seems to come only from the drivers front corner of the car rather than to all vehicle speakers, and the audio quality is a bit muffled. Is there a way to have the voice projected on all speakers, and if not, is there a specific speaker that can be upgraded to improve voice quality?

Phone audio will only come from the driver's side speaker. That's how mine works (08 non-nav). Keep in mind too you're using a cell phone connection, which by default makes things sound like garbage to begin with - then sending it to the car via bluetooth, which shouldn't have much impact - but it's just another link in the chain.
