Default Picking Best Aftermarket Speaker Questions

I have a 2011 350 and want to replace the factory door and dash speakers. I have the standard 8 speaker setup and just want more depth upfront. I've looked in my trunk behind the covers and I don't see an amplifier as I read the ML setup does. If I'm wrong can someone please help me find it.

Secondly what aftermarket speakers are recommended to replace the stock ones?

Lastly does anyone have the stock speaker specs for the '11 350 base setup. I've looked through the forum but have not come across them.

There's a forum on this site dedicated to audio.

And that forum barely touches the ES-350.

The amp is located on the passenger side of the trunk. But there is no reason to touch it unless you are going to use a line out converter (LOC) and a separate amp.

I replaced my front speakers with a set of Phoenix Gold Ti components. My wife fried the door speaker so I replaced them with Crescendo Audio 6.5's. They are a little more efficient so the midrange sounds better to me. Details about this are covered in my build thread.

Thanks. I didn't find much about the ES either in that forum. I'll go and check out your build.
