Default Horrible Bluetooth call quality

Hi all,

First time Lexus owner, first time posting in the forums. I've searched the forums, but have not seen any similar issues posted.

I have a 2010 es350 purchased new, and never addressed one of the flaws that I have. The call quality on the receiver's end is horrible when talking over Bluetooth. I can hear callers very well in the car, but everyone that I call is not able to hear me clearly. They have said that it sounds "like I'm standing in a large, empty room with the phone at the other end sitting on a table", "talking into tin cans with strings connected", "breaking up every other word", etc. This has been with every call that I have made over the past 4 years, regardless of the signal strength, and regardless of the phone (2 different Android phones, one Blackberry, one iPhone).

Any recommendations on troubleshooting this problem??

Thanks!!

Can't say why you have this problem as my 2010 does not have the same issue. I'm using a Samsung flip phone on Verizon network and it works great from what I hear on the receiving end. Maybe you have a carrier issue but if not then you most likely have a car electronics problem.

Default 2011 es350

The quality isn't that great in my 2011 either. It's ok, but not great. It was better in my 2010 Honda Accord.

Same issue in my 2008. I hear callers well, but they have the same complaints. Using iPhone. Doesn't appear to be a fix....

No issues in my '08 ES. No complaints from any of my callers.
