M.Levinson subwoofer replacement
Hello Folks
Please forgive me if this is a re-post but I did look at multiple postings on the topic of
"how to replace subwoofer" on lexus ES350 but it just doesn't show detail guidance.
I have took apart, the bottom and upper rear seats, unscrewed the seat belts but that's how far the direction goes. It just skips to taking apart the sub woofer. I'm stuck at "where and how do I take the sub-woofer out after taking seats and seat-belt part out?
There is a big flat panel that covers sub-woofer and rear sun-screen.
how do I take that panel out?
and what about the bolts and nuts in the trunk where I see the sub-woofer?
Can anyone help? my M.Lev sub-woofer definitely has blown, must replace or glue.
Thanks folks

You need to take off the top seat belt retainers. These have 3 screws in the outside ones and 2 in the middle if i remember correctly. That large panel that covers the subwoofer is held in place with 2-3 push tabs towards the front middle. You'll need to pull the panel up and then slide it out towards the front windshield.
If you would like to minimize bending the outside tabs of the panel covering the subwoofer you'll need to pull off the left and right side panels on the quarters. These are held on by push tabs also (pull towards inner cabin) and will slide out towards the front of the car after disconnected.
