How do you remove/reinstall girlfriend lock mechanism on 2012 es 350?[

The girlfriend lock mechanism is the emergency release one can pull to get out of the car trunk if one is locked inside the car trunk.

Not sure if I should tell you the solution or not given you could be trying to kidnap your gf...

Not likely. Married 44 years and live in community property state. No need to kidnap a girlfriend. You should know it is free.

Yes,, but not sure what trunk lock mechanism has to do with gf lock mechanism. I am trying to keep a limited focus but maybe this is not possible or maybe I am not understanding Nevernu post.
