My ES saved my life today
#16
Unbelievable accident just driving home from work. Tractor trailer didn't stop for stopped traffic. I had just traded in an 09 accord and I doubt I would have lived through it if I were still driving it. I just picked up an 09 ES and I'm still very much appreciating the safety it offers
So no joke, the car saved my life.

So when you drive these big trucks, you have an added level of responsibility because carelessness on your part could cause a greater level of harm than normal. Plenty of great truckers out there. It just sucks that some make these *choices*.

Selfish bastard. He checks his truck before he checks on other people. Probably a low class hillbilly. We are very glad you are OK bud. I just bought a 2007 ES350 so hopefully I wont have to test my car's strength

Wow..me too!
Owner of 2 ES350s so far. My first got rear ended at highway speeds by a Cherokee and although it was totalled, my girlfriend and I walked away without a scratch.
I bought my 2nd 16 days ago. On the way home from work today on the interstate, I was plowed into by a semi at highway speed. I'm a little stiff on this one but man am I glad to be alive. The pictures are unbelievable. I'd post them here but I don't know how to.
I'm also looking to buy another if anyone in the area has a well maintained one. The safety rating on this model should be 10/10!

The girl's car..
My poor, baby car...
Same here..I had an ES300H and a 19 yr old rear'ended me going full on 60mph, never once slowed down. Both cars totalled/towed from the scene. It was like I was on ice skates, slowly fishtailing across the road. Not one jerk or jolt, no neck or backpain whatsoever..a miracle..neither one of us were injured at all.

That's jaw-dropping! Glad you're ok....and yes, that's a miracle. Say some prayers and thank God you're alive. I can't believe you walked away only feeling a little stiff. You may be more sore as the days go on, but I'd go get checked out to make sure nothing is wrong now. Sometimes you might not show symptoms immediately, but they'll show up later on after you've already settled.

The Police should check her phone activity prior to the crash to see if she was texting or talking at the time of impact.
