Default Disconnecting the airbag from the sear

Hey guys

Trying to rip out my passenger seat to fix the leather. Anyone ever disccnnected the airbag without blowing it off? What's the best procedure to disconnecting it whilst avoiding setting it off?

I disconnected a lot of airbags and they never came off.
But if you are afraid, you just disconnect the battery and reconnect it after you finish with your seat.

(e) Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent the airbag and seat belt
pretensioner from deploying .
(f) Disconnect the connectors under the seat. Then remove the front seat assembly.
