I had my ES air bag replaced in Annapolis, MD this week after a 12 month wait and driving a rental car for the last 8 months! They picked up my car in the morning and delivered it back to my home in six hours!

How many of you received a loaner until your car was fixed?
Just asking.
Also has anyone near PA had theirs fixed yet? The website says June 2017 but that was last month.

Just asking because I didn't.
You may wanna ask another dealers?
I checked with two different dealers, one wanted to keep my car for 1 day while the other wanted to keep for 3 days. They both offered free loaners. I went with the faster one. Got free brand new RX 350 for one day. My ES got airbag replaced and gas tank refiled. Car washed too.

Dropped it off at 7:45 - picked it up at 3:45. They did airbag, sticky melting dash, best car wash ever and filled up the tank.

When I dropped it off a guy came out offering to buy my car so I asked him to set me up in a 2017 ES, which he did. Only had 30 miles, nice car but I could never revert back to that crap audio system.

We almost bought the RX. I and my wife both loved the elevated view. Too many SUVs these days so being in an ES seems too low now.
However Lexus doesn't have Android Auto so we will keep waiting instead.

Sorry, I may have caused confusion in my previous post, by loaner I meant a car for the amount of months until a fix was found for your car.

I received a notice from Lexus saying I was eligible to make an appointment to have mine replaced. I live in a suburb of Cleveland, Ohio. I Called the dealer on 7/7/17, and they are taking appointments 2 per day, as this is how many replacements they are being allocated daily. Their first appointment was 8/8/17, so that is when I am scheduled. They want to keep the car all day, but offered a loaner for the day.

I am not the original owner of the car (my father in law was), but I was impressed by their offer of the loaner without me asking. A month is a long wait, but how long have we waited already? If this goes as planned, I will be satisfied.

Best of luck to those who are still waiting.

Just bought a used 2008 es350 and called in for the air bag recall, they scheduled me in few days from calling. Got it fix quick and easy with a free loaner car and gas tank refilled as well as a free inspections. Their service repair is quite expensive but the customer service at Henderson Lexus in Nevada is great.

One of the websites lists $2500 cash for Lexus customers affected by Tacata recall if buying or leasing new Lexus, anyone has more info on that?

Had my 2011's airbag recall taken care of last week in NorCal. Good to have her back on the road. Took advantage of the "rental vehicle" for 6 months.

My 2011 is at the dealership for airbag recall but I was told my dashboard I had melted to the windshield so they cannot do the airbag recall without replacing the dashboard at $2200. My car has been garage kept since day 1 during the day at work and during the night at home. Not sure how this could happen. Has anyone had this issue?

My dash, while not melted, is extremely tacky during warmer temps. I have read about it on this site in a couple of forums. Mine is a 2007 ES350. I love my car but I’m not gonna lie...the 2007 has a lot more quirks thank my 1997 ever did.
