Default Tom

2008 Lexus 350es. Rocker panel molding popped loose on the passenger side below the front door. Looks like it should pop back in, but I didn't want to push in too hard. Is that what I need to do? Push until is pops in? Looks like the mounting brackets are designed to slide in place, but that doesn't seem possible.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

hey Tommy boy, seems like you could pop it back in but,
why don't you post that question over here https://www.clublexus.com/forums/ls-...2007-2017-178/

I have the same problem. I could not get it to pop back in. I think the whole thing needs to slide back, then you push it in, and then slide back. Which means you have to take the whole thing off. Nevernu's PDFs should be able to help with that.

Or, you go the cheap and easy way and cut off the protruding tab from molding and then use some double sided auto-body tape to hold it in place. This is what I did.
