My dealer told me they just use power steering fluid which did surprise me

They must be using same stuff that came from
factory. When I just bought this car new, the fluid was very light yellow/clear color. Others stated the same expirence from the factory, what a confusion around whole thing. Some say that dealer/factory have dexron 3 without red dye, which I never seen.

Every Lexus weve ever had originally had clear/yellow power steering fluid and I used to switch it to ATF, but without 2012 ES350 i decided to use power steering fluid to keep the color and after talking to the dealer. i'm sure either is better than dirty fluid
