Default 2008 ES350 - Replacing Nav Headunit with non-nav unit?

Hello all, I'm a very new user to this site and I wanted to feel around for what the best thing to do in my situation.

I am currently driving a 2008 ES350, whose center navigation head unit has been broken for the past half year. I broke it because I (stupidly and willingly agree) attached a suction cup to the front panel of the Nav unit. I know, chastise me all you want, nobody uses the Nav unit anymore when you have smartphones. Since doing that, I now have lost access to all other features of the car and only use AUTO for A/C and listen to NPR on the radio. Aux for anything else.

That being said, is there any recommendation out there on how to remove my center Nav unit and replace it with a non-nav head? Something that can still give me access to audio, heating/cooling controls, and bluetooth connection for my phone?

I'm not a car enthusiast in the slightest, so I don't know what's best for my car. I wouldn't know where to go or what to do except hand it off to the dealer.
Any help would be appreciated, thank you very much!

You might want to search on ebay or a salvage yard and get a working head. Easier to just replace it and use the functions that you want. That way you'll get a plug and play unit which will be an easy swap. Good luck

I did some search on ebay and the price isn't too bad for the head.

I was also wondering then, if I could just buy a replacement LCD screen? It's a little bit cheaper than buying a whole head replacement.

All other functions of the head works, it's just that the LCD display might have shorted out and doesn't react to any buttons. I can still use the bottom climate control buttons, change temperature while the AC is on AUTO, and clock works fine.

This is a picture of it, from eBay.
