A while a go, I took off the trunk lid liner to get at the bolts that hold the license plate on. Anyways, the liner is loose causing a slight rattle whenever I go over a bump. At first it didn't annoy me but after 6 months it now does.

I played around with the plastic tabs thingies and they seem secure. Did I miss something putting the tabs back? Was there something else?

I'll remove the liner again but don't want to unless I have to because I'm scared of breaking something. Any hints, pointers would be great.

removing the liner is trivial especially with a little tool like this. There are 10 black clips and two pop up white ones in the center bottom
