Ditto...Not only are the LED upgrade bulbs worthless in the stock halogen housings, but the aftermarket housing are crap too. I'll never buy another replacement headlight assembly that isn't true OEM. It's worth the extra hundreds of dollars for OEM when one's safety is at stake.

Thanks Lexus2000...good video. There may be some good products out there, but there is a lot of crap too, and it is hard for the average Joe to sort them out. Have you had any good experiences upgrading to LED?

Mixed, mostly bad. It took me several tries before I found a kit that worked properly. And that's the problem, given the various designs of reflectors and projectors what works well in one may be poor in another. The key with any LED bulb is the LEDs themselves must be in the same position as the original filament. The Morimoto does this, a few others as well but most are simply wrong they go with a generic design and change the socket. LEDs for whatever reason don't do as well in a projector specifically they are not very bright. HIDs are best for a projector, but then you have to deal with all the extra components and wiring.

The only thing you might want to check out is whether or not your Low Beams use an additional clip or adaptor to help lock the bulbs in place. We have some of those H7 Bulb Adaptors, but it is best to compare against your stock setup to confirm whether you need anything additional. If you need one, you might need to modify it in order to fit with an aftermarket LED, since those adaptors are typically sized for HID bulbs.

Hope this helps,

Hey Robert. I have a 2010 Lexus ES 350 (Base Model, Canadian Version). The current headlight pulbs are incondecent bulbs though I do have a projector lense. I'm looking to upgrade my light with an HID kit or an LED kid preferably given I do not compromise on light beam pattern. I will check out your website, but let me know what would be best suited for my vehicle.

Thanks!
