Winter storage questions
I'm currently storing my 2010 ES in my garage.
Prior to going into storage, the car's fuel tank has been filled to the top and treated with fuel stabilizer.
Oil changed, battery connected to a maintainer and I put a car cover on.
I filled the tires a few PSI more than spec'ed, I'm not too worried as I will be replacing them in the spring anyway.
My ES has been parked since late October and won't be driven until late March/early April. Sadly that is when the spring returns on the Canadian prairies.
Should I start it up once in a while or just let it stay connected to the maintainer?
What else should I be thinking about? This is a single car garage, so no moisture to worry about from another vehicle.
Anyone else storing their car during winter?

Just let it sit. The maintainer will take care of the battery.Idling is actually bad for the car and if you intended to take it out for a drive what was the point in storing it?

I would start it every 10-15 days and let it idle for 2-3 minutes.

Fellow Lexus owners, OP here. I just wanted to let you know that after being stored for nearly six months (Since October 20, 2017), I finally started up my ES today.
It started like it was run yesterday. No fuss. Just a short tap on the start button and it started like it always does. Not a single glitch. Well, not exactly true. The tires developed a bit of a flat spot, but after a few miles they got progressively better. It doesn't really matter since I'm getting new Pirelli Cinturato P7 Plus in a couple of weeks.
The suspension has a slight squeak, but it also seems to be getting better. Surprisingly the brakes were totally fine from the get go. The car was well prepped for the winter, but also kudos to Toyota for developing such a pleasant vehicle, that just works. Couldn't ask for a better start to the season.
