Brake pedal going down slowly

Car have 166k mi. As the tittle says this ii happening from a couple of weeks ago. I replaced the brake pump but problem continues. What could be the cause of this problem?

theres no brake pump.. its a brake master and slave cylinder.. sounds like either the master went out or the fluid didn't get changed when it was replaced
