My drivers seat won’t go up and down, all other functions work. When checking the motor directly it works by switching the power back and forth it goes up and down
With a test light at the motor the blue wire is hot
Have replaced the seat controller switch twice with no luck

Bad seat switch controller? Have you tried testing it with your memory seat configuration to check if it works? if you have an extra setup of course... You can also try to energize the up/down motor with an external battery to see if it works.

I have energized the up/down motor and it works, you have to switch the polarity back and forth
i am installing these seat in an older Chevrolet.
How can I bypass the memory function?
The passenger side works perfectly.

No idea on the memory bypass, but it seems that the switch controller is the problem then..
