Default New guy- Seat Track question

Well, I'm the new guy. We bought our first Lexus, an '07 ES350, a few weeks ago. It has 140K on it. It is in excellent shape with all service records. We are loving it. Looking forward to our first road trip next weekend.

Anyway, I noticed this piece protruding from the RH driver seat track a couple of days after we bought it. At the time, it was only out about 1/2". My wife is the primary driver and we're rarely in the back seat so I haven't looked at it in a while. I found this last night. I have searched the forum and can't find a post about this issue. Anyone have experience with this issue?

Sorry, that's a gravel in the floor. Should have removed it before the pic.

I was able to push it back in. I also used a punch and tapped it in a bit farther than flush. I'm sure it will come out again but I'll keep a better eye on it.

I'd still like some help if anyone has experience with it.
