2009 ES 350 A/C works only when Dimmer OFF
Hello, this is my first time posting in these forums, any help is greatly appreciated. I am an amateur at best at car maintenance.
BACKGROUND - I own a 2009 ES 350, and have installed a completely new audio system, which includes a 5 Channel AMP/2 Component speaker sets/8 INCH SUB. I have also installed a XS Power D4700 12V BCI Group 47 AGM Battery (Max Amps 2,900A, CA: 745 Ah: 50, 2000W / 3000W), and a Secondary Battery for Amp in Trunk. The headunit is a Kenwood DMX7705S. I also have a Maestro unit for the Steering controls, and all of the OEM speakers have been removed. I removed the OEM Amp as well. Everything works well with the car, sounds great, voltages read good.
PROBLEM- The car starts beautifully, no lag, BUT if I have my dimmer control set to ANY BRIGHTNESS BESIDES ZERO , my AC does not work, and the ambient temp does not show in the gauge cluster display screen. The AC will instantaneously cut off and on with the DIMMER CONTROL setting.
Besides that everything works great with the car, I am more than happy to give any information needed to help towards finding a solution. I can post pictures as needed, and am greatly appreciative of all who respond to help!
Thanks!

It is difficult to pin point what the problem with all of the wiring work that has been done. I assume you didn't have this issue prior to the installation of the audio equipment. If so then it would be obvious that something that was done during the installation has caused the issue. Assuming that I would think you would have to go back and relook at what was done and what was changed. This is going to be a difficult issue to trace. Good luck

Yes, I completely agree, I will just start from ths top if it comes down to it. I am really wishing on a star somebody might have encountered this exact issue, or something similar. Google and Co. isn't bailing me out of this, or at least my searches haven't enlightened me. But hey it wouldn't be a real project without some hiccups. I will say the acoustics in this car, as in the stage, really sounds great with a couple of upgrades.
