hi,
I just had some tires installed at wheel works. I bought them online.
Ever since then my TPMS light has been on. Wheel works says it is my spare TPMS that needs to be replaced, that was the only tire that wasn't replaced, not sure if I trust them. I heard the guy behind the counter up sell everybody he spoke to. Everyone he spoke to (phone or in-person) was going to pay at least $1000 more than what was on the estimate.
I'd would rather not take it to a dealer as the $188 just for a diagnostic seems extreme.
Has anyone tested sensors and replaced just one?
if yes,
what tester?
what replacement sensor? I bought a Denso from Rock Auto.
