Default Clicking noise when i push gas pedal

Hi All, my 2009 ES 350 makes a clicking noise (two clicks) when i push gas pedal and when taking foot off (same thing, two clicks). I noticed this recently when I had the door window opened. I appreciate any input about this issue.
Thank you.

I just started having the exact same clicking in my 2005 RX 330. I have searched high and low- no results.
My mechanic has no idea...HELP!

First thought to come to mind are worn lower control arm bushings. My Tacoma truck made similar clicking noises, as well as when I braked firmly right before it came to a complete stop.

Other things it can be: worn sway bar bushings, worn wheel bearings, worn struts, loose brake pads, and/or a worn CV shaft.

You can exaggerate the sound further by driving next to a 4-ft wall, or taller, with window open.

Google search indicates people saying it's the temperature servo motor. Inside cabin, I think.

The noise was first noticed with the window open, indicating the noise is from outside the cabin.

Thanks for the reply!
My does not have anything to do with the brakes - they are fine. As are the other things you mentioned.
It is definitely related to feather touching the gas pedal and the click occurs as you touch and as you release. ONLY happens when I barely, lightly touch and release gas pedal while moving. Won't replicate when stationary
It is also VERY clearly heard regardless of windows up/down, street/parking garage type areas etc.
It just started happening from one day to the next about 10 days ago.
Just had exhaust system replaced (not related) and having motor mounts done this week.
I have searched for over week and so has my mechanic on all sorts of tech sites...he works on tons of Lexus' and never come across this in them or other cars.

Can you tell me what you googled or where you located this info? I have googled every conceivable combo and this was the only place I found my exact issued being addressed.
Noise is definitely outside/from the gas pedal so not sure how it would be servo. I had that issue on my SC430 and was a completely different noise I heard fron INSIDE the car.

You should check the dog bone motor mount.

I believe that the ES accelerator is a "fly by wire" system where the gas peddle is not directly connected to the throttle body. It is done with an electric servo motor and the gas peddle is a variable resistor. So if there is a noise when you start to move the peddle you might want to listen at the throttle body to see if the noise is there.
