I just purchased a new to me 2007 Lexus ES 350. The car is in need of some TLC but the engine and transmission are flawless, the car feels like new. I’ve had a ton of Toyota’s but this is my first Lexus. I love tinkering with cars so I went with an older car instead of just leasing one.
The first non fun bits of maintenance required are tires/brakes. Tires are ordered now for brakes I buy them from the dealer using my mechanics discount and then just take it to him to install. Seems like Toyota sells the V6 Camry pads/rotors that seem to fit the ES cheaper than Lexus parts department does. Does anyone know if the parts are any better, or different?
