hi
yes the bulbs are H7
yes i bought both and replaced both
light output is the same from both projectors
seems like maybe they are pointing down to the ground or that the light that is coming from the lowbeam projectors is just side light from the lights on the side? don't know how to explain
there is no level adjustment on these lights, correct?

is the h7 bulb lit when on, is it plugged in, are headlight fuses good? the HID have level/swivel adj not halogen. only standard adjust on halogen, also does both high beam and low beam setting produce no light?

i am sorry for sounding stupid but how can i tell if the bulb is on? take it completely out and plug in to the harness and then just turn on the lights? what do you mean by standard adjust? high beam is ok

take out and plug into harness is one way to tell if power is going to bulb. there are separate fuses for right and left halogen bulbs and separate relays as well so if both are off its unlikely to be a fuse or relay

the standard adjust is just up/down using aiming screw, its only small adjustments so not the issue here i dont think

It might same some time and aggravation to just take the car to the dealer and see if they'll do both headlights for that $59 labor fee.

if there is a special way to plug it in, the plug shape will be configured to do it the correct way, otherwise just do what comes naturally

There is no polarity for this type bulb. You only need to turn it the correct way to do the insertion . For a dim light check your grounds and the light will light up out of the socket but it gets hot so don't burn yourself. If you still can't get it to work then take it to the dealer and pay the price . If your old bulbs worked and you replaced them with these and they don't work you did something wrong..
