Automatic Door Locks Not Opening with Key Fob Controller
I own a 2011 Lexus ES350 and all of a sudden the automatic door locks are not opening both passenger side and rear passenger doors. It will beep several times and only unlock the driver side door. It does lock all 4 doors when you go to secure the vehicle I took it to a local Lexus Dealer and they said it needs a new Body Control Module... Said the part was $900. and $600. to install it. This seems extremely high and I told the service advisor to contact Lexus HQ and have it covered under the 6 year Certified Pre-owned Warranty. If Lexus HQ does not honor the CPO warranty, where can I get the Body Control Module Part for less and have a local third party mechanic install it? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated? Please email samx4750@yahoo.com Thank You, SAM

What happens if you double press the unlock button on the remote? Do all doors unlock?
There's a customization to unlock only the driver's door with a single click on the remote... or open all doors with a single click. Not sure if you're just experiencing a customization symptom. I would hate to think it's the control module.

I tried clicking twice and multiple times and it only unlocks the driver side door. The Lexus Dealer said the body controller has to be replaced for around $1546.00 ! That is way too high and I bought it as a certified pre-owned vehicle in 2015 and it should be covered under the Factory Extended Warranty but they claim that expired in July 2018 after three years.... Any help on where to get it fixed for less would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, SAM

They said my Lexus Certified Pre-owned Warranty expired after 3 years... I am going to call Lexus HQ tomorrow and see if it is covered under their 6 year CPO Extended warranty.

I just talked to Lexus Financial HQ and Lexus Customer Relations and they won't pay for the Body ECU part and installation as my CPO warranty expired on 7/31/2018... Oh Well! Please let me know where we can buy a used or refurbished Body ECU and have my mechanic install it for less? Thanks, SAM
