Default Heat & ac same time.

Yesterday I had my heat on for close to an hour then all of a sudden I feel some cold air coming out from the passenger side. Is that even possible?
I had my climate control set for dual and at 73F

Possibly your air mix servo motor on the passenger side is at fault.

I had an opposite experience. I would be running the air con and then for a moment, I would feel the ambient temp get warm. It only lasted like maybe 2 seconds max, but nonetheless my body sensed the change in temp. When I put my hand up to the vents, all I felt was cold air coming out so it was very strange. The occurance almost seemed "imaginary" because it happened for such short time intervals. I'm happy to report that I haven't experienced it since way back when, so like you I'll have to chalk it up to a glitch.

I have this happen to me a couple of times since my last post.

Drive to work other day about half way to work 20-30mins drive was nice and warm at 73F then all of a sudden it feels cool on the driver side. I then check the passenger side and the rear all feels normal. I then turn the heat off for a min or so turn it back on same blowing cool (not cold) air on the driver side and warm on passenger and rear. When I got to work I turn the car off and turn it back on, then turn the heat on all normal. My conclusion is that the driver side heat only work for 30mins or so then cool air.
This is on random for now I will observe it more.

Anyone else have this issue? I wonder if these is a TSB for this?
