Default 2012 Wont Attempt to Start with a Green Start Button

I let my es 350 sit for 5 months. I jump started it and drove it for about 20 minutes. Now it wont even attempt to start even though the start button light is green. The battery is fine, but it seems that it is sensing something wrong so that it doesnt even try to start. All of the other electrical works. The funny thing is that the fob wont lock or unlock the doors. The brake is pressed. I tried my other fob and changed the battery in my first fob. There are no messages on the dashboard display.

Tried moving the shifter. The start button turns green so it is ready to start. But it just doesnt try. What could be the problem with a green start button?

Try pressing harder on the brake peddle while pressing the start button.

Thank you for the reply. I did try pressing very hard on the brake. But I will try again as hard as I can. Thank you!!!

I think it is funny that the fobs dont work. If I take them out of the car the display says key not recognized. I should be able unlock and lock the car with the fobs, but they do nothing now. I was thinking that I need to get a new fob from the dealer, but it is funny because I drove the car. Then turned it off and now it wont even try to start. Headlights dont dim when pressing the start so it isnt even trying.

But pressing harder on the brake should be the answer? I will try again.

Also try holding the key fob next to the start button while you push it. Do you have a 2nd key fob. If so try that. If still no start then you need to have it taken to a dealer to have them put it on their computer. You may have a module that is bad.
