Default Traction Control and Check Engine light on in 2010 ES 350

My recently purchased ES 350 has been fine since my acquisition in late April of this year but on a road trip to Florida (yes I know I知 crazy) my check engine and traction control light came on and the engine felt like it was dragging and the rpm was fluctuating when gas was applied. I turned the car off and gave it a few minutes to cool and turned it on to the lights off. Drove home fine and had no issues until tonight. I知 an Uber driver so I was on a trip when the lights came back on and the same sluggish engine performance occurred so I did the same routine as before and again, no lights. I知 just getting to the end of my rides and heading home when the lights turn on yet again. Weirdly the opposite is occurring this time, my engine sounds and drives fine thought the lights are on and the lights are now not coming off when I turn the car off and on again. Will be taking it to my mechanic tomorrow but wanted to get an early diagnosis just in case someone else has experienced this issue before. 62,795 is on the odometer ATM of this posting, bought at 54,000 under salvage title.

Best to retrieve codes with a code reader. That being said, sounds like you have a bad ignition coil; maybe more than one. The code reader will identify which coil generated the CEL. It may show a letter, "A" being cylinder one; "B" is cyl 2, etc ... Firing order is 1-3-5, firewall side pass to driver; and 2-4-6, front of car, pass to driver.

Is that a bad spark plug code or ignition coil code?

Just got back from autozone and the codes read that all 6 of my cylinders are misfiring but like stated in the original post the performance of the engine tells a different story. The auto zone employee said the e fine sounds fine and wouldn稚 be sounding as it does if all 6 cylinders are misfiring. Will tale to my mechanic in the morning for full diagnostic but codes were cleared and haven稚 appeared yet.
