Hello, my lady has an '11 that her ex broke the horns in. I'd really like to fix his mistake to look like a hero, lol. Horn button doesn't do anything, I've been searching this forum for about two hours now and haven't seen any posts about it. What I'm looking for is the horn relay. If anything just to test it. She brought the car to a mechanic friend and he said something in the wheel broke. She's not good with cars and doesn't really remember what was said to be broken. The ex was supposed to fix it so she didn't really pay attention either.
Okay I found the fuse and it's good. I really didn't have much tools on hand, as I was at her house, so I didn't test the actual horns. The car does have a relay, right? I'm guessing it may need a clockspring, saw them at rockauto for about a hundred bucks.
Any tips? The two fuse panels I found (in the drivers footwell and in the engine compartment) doesn't have the horn relay
Thanks in advance,
Justin
