Default Streaming audio options in 09 ES 350 w/Nav

Newbie to this site here. I bought my Moms 2009 ES 350 w/nav for my daughter to drive. The Car is in excellent condition and has only seen service at a Lexus dealer its whole life. I have researched how to get an iPhone steaming music to work with the factory radio and I haven't found any definitive answers. I know I can change the whole unit out but that is not an option as Im not looking to change the OEM unit. And don't want to have to do the crappy tape player, radio station, plug into iPhone route either, as again I'm looking for bluetooth streaming w/o all that mess.

My question is, are there any options to make the factory unit stream music from an iPhone (OEM radio has Factory hands free phone bluetooth)?

No, doesn't work for 2009. Mine does that for hands free phone usage, no streaming music.

I got a Bluetooth adapter for my 09. Connects to the aux player under the console and charges there too. I have to push a button on the unit every time I start the car but it is a really cheap version-was like $10 on Amazon.

Thank you, I did allot of reading on both those options today, but ultimately decided that is more than my daughter needs and more than I want to spend for just steaming music. So I ordered the USA spec Bluetooth off amazon instead.

I just installed mine and it is worth every penny! I had a FM Bluetooth transmitter and the sound quality just wasn't good, and yes I tried multiple stations and also multiple units. I spend a lot of time in my vehicle so this just makes sense since I stream music most of the time.

Hi Texmexjose, how did this work out for you? I have a 2008 es350 w Factory GPS.

For a 2006 Toyota Avalon, I used GTA Car kit.
