I have a 2010 ES350 with Navigation and am having problems pairing my new iphone
BT is turned on in my iphone settings but I cant get the phone to pair with the carplay


Can someone please walk me through the steps..Thanks for your help.

are you trying to pair for calls? a 2010 is not compatible with anything else if you are thinking entertainment wise, use the aux jack for music

The 2010 is able to play your iphone music content wirelessly over bluethoth on the 2010 audio system.
Ive done it for 7 years with my old iphone 6. I am trying to configure my new iphone to do the same

Speaking from memory as I no longer have that car -- you need to do it in two steps.

1. Pair the phone for calls
2. Pair the phone for bluetooth audio.

If you just pair it for calls then music playback via bluetooth will not work.

I successful with step 1 but cannot pair for the Bluetooth audio
