Cracked windshield
I took my car for a repair last week to a Lexus body shop. They had possession of the car for 4 days. The service rep calls me to pick up the car and BTW offers to give me a quote for the crack in the windshield...?. the car was assessed when I left it with them and there were absolutely no cracks, chips.... Long story short. after many arguments and escalating the issue to the service manager they offered me to replace the windshield at cost. Any idea how much is the cost of windshield replacement on a 2009 ES350? I live in K-W, Ontario.
May thanks in advance and for any suggestions

Most of the time windshields are damaged by rocks while driving and it is covered by insurance. Windshields are often covered separately as a non-fault type of damage and usually have a low or no deductible.
You should call your insurance company before agreeing to pay these guys. Tell them what happened. Let insurance pay for it, then the insurance company can go after them for reimbursement.
There is a huge cost difference between original equipment Lexus windshields and the aftermarket windshields most insurance companies will pay for as a replacement.
Just do some Google searches and you will see what windshields cost, or call a couple of the big glass companies like Safeco etc that advertise a lot.
