What year is it?

If your factory wheel is 7.5 or 8" wide, I would not go any wider than 235. The 245 will fit, but theres no benefit in doing so.

I have 235 55 17 winter tires installed on the car (I got them for free and were almost brand new). There is barely 1 inch clearance on the rears (The tires touch the strut towers if someone sits in the back). Front is good except you cant turn it full because the tires rub on the inside fender. I did notice that the ride is much smoother compared to stock however the acceleration is significantly slower.

Since yours are slightly smaller I would be concerned about the rear tires touching when it is loaded up. Luckily I am the only one in the car 99% of the time so not an issue for me.

Potentially a good deal but what if they came off a bad car with uneven wear? I've had that happen to me buying a pair of Yokohamas from a classified post back in the day. Is it worth the risk?
