Has anyone had this problem before? I bought a 2007 Lexus ES350 with Mark Levinson Nav System a couple weeks ago. The Nav works perfectly fine and the radio turns on but no sound comes out of the speakers! The cd/dvd load button also does not function. I bought the car knowing this. I thought it was the fuse or amp until I decided to test out the AUX plug for sound. I connected one end from my phone tand the other end into the AUX plug in the center console and there was sound coming from all the speakers. I checked the fuses outlined in the owners manual related to radio but they are fine. What could be my issue? Is it with the head unit? Is it a bad pin connector on the back end? Is it a fuse thats related to radio but no specified in the owners manual? Please help!

Sounds like something is wrong with the head unit. Radio was tuned properly? Volume was cranked?

I am going to agree, if everything else is working Im thinking it has to do with something in the head unit. Personally if aux is working and all other controls. I'd just use a Bluetooth adapter and use my phone for everything.

Thanks guys for your help. I called Pioneer today (Pioneer makes the radio) and they referred me to an OEM radio repair shop in Whitby. By the time I called them, they had closed for the day. I will let post what they say when I get in 5ouch with them.

I had a look on eBay, whole assembly from screen to A/C controls available, replacement might be less than repair cost (??)
Do both the Aux and the Nav output to the spakers?

Yes, the Nav voice system, bluetooth phone and Aux all work.

Depending on cost I have seen an aftermarket android head unit that is made for the es its around 600

Just wondering, did you have it repaired, get a used unit somewhere, or, install an aftermarket head unit/system?
