Default Transmission Fluid Refill 2007 Lexus ES350

So week or 2 ago I changed the driver side CV axle (boot was torn and slinging grease everywhere), while changing, noticed that the cv axle seal was torn so replaced it as well. Apparently didn't seal it correctly because noticed it leaking some transmission fluid on garage floor over coming days. Had some trouble getting cv axle out this around so had to order axle popper. While waiting on it to arrive it lost even more fluid. So currently have no idea how much transmission fluid to add back in. Have the fluid and pump, but can't find anything that says how much to add.
Bottom of transmission pan only has one plug that we can't get out because it's stuck and almost stripped.

How do you know how much transmission fluid to add?

It's complicated.

You would need to measure the fluid temperature to perform a check and drain any excess fluid after refilling.

Watch this video, particularly starting at the 10:00 minute mark, it will explain everything.

While the lady mechanic video above is good, here's another one specifically for your U660E transmission. First it shows you the procedure for checking to see if the fluid level is correct and then how to drain (if desired) and refill it. In your case I'd first add 1/2 quart of fluid since you know some leaked and then proceed to check and adjust the fluid level. Of course, if you find the old fluid in your car is brown you may wish to do a drain and refill.

Thanks for sharing this second video! The only thing I would do different is purchase the parts through Toyota and likely use a premium level fluid like Amsoil or Redline, if available with the "WS" specification. Did I miss the part where he replaced the drain and fill plug gaskets? It's not critical, but recommended.
