My car is 2011 ES350.

Rear view mirror is GNTX-533 with 5 pin.

Harness has 5 holes. But only 4 holes are used.

Rear view mirror has 5 pins

My questions are

(1) what is the role of each of 4 cables in the harness from the car? Please explain. (which one is Acc, which is GND, ....)

(2) what is the role of each of 5 pins in the harness from rear view mirror? Please explain. (which one is Acc, which is GND, ....)

(3) Rear view mirror has 5 pins and harness from rear view mirror also has 5 pins. But why does the harness from the car have only 4 cables?

BTW the rear view mirror of my es350 does not seem to have compass. If GNTX-533 does not have compass, the diagram should be changed?

is this the one? if so maybe you have not turned the compass display on; press the auto button for 3 sec to turn on / off. Press 6 sec to select the geo zone
