Engine Noise
Hi Everyone!
My 07 ES350 is experiencing some engine noises. It kind of sounds like a bird chirping noise, from a belt possibly?
My local Lexus Service center wants $215 to look at the issue. The car has 108,xxx miles on it.
I went to a few mechanics, and I’ve heard a few different responses. One being my IDLE or A/C Pully another mechanic said it’s my water pump and the third mechanic said it was my alternator.
Any tips on what this noise could be? I found a local mechanic that works on Toyota and Lexus only, I’ll be taking it to him sometime next week to have a look at it.

One of the idle pullies.
You have three. I never replaced them, just the bearings.

I never changed them, only the bearings.
If you don't have the tools to do it yourself then get the idlers from Amazon or ebay and find a mechanic who can replace them. You don't need to replace the V belt.
