Fuel fill lid removal

Fuel fill lid removal
I've ordered a bumper cover replacement from Revmoto and for an assured paint match they suggest sending in the fuel lid cover (or cutting out a 6x6 inch piece of the bumper cover which I'm not going to do). I've looked at the lid and see no means for its removal. The anchoring bolts on the body side are round which provides no means for their removal. Can anyone shed some light?

I've stared at the fuel door long enough to go cross-eyed. The hinges have a seam which can be spread apart to separate from the hinge pin (if that should make sense) and that's what I chose to do. A youtube video shows a method of drilling out the rounded-head bolts and replacing with standard hex heads which I think is too invasive in the end.
