Hello everyone,
I have a 2007 Lexus ES350, I bought this car used and just about finished restoring this car to its former glory, with all new OEM engine mounts, spark plugs and coils, axles, the suspension on all 4 corners, bushings, thermostat, serpentine belt, transmission fluid and filter, and detailed the whole car inside and out. However, I bought the car from the previous owner with the front bumper scraped and cracked. I was planning on buying the replacement bumper for 2007, but I saw the 2010-2012 bumper for sale for the same price, I am also willing to pay for the different fog lights. Is it possible (and has anyone attempted this) to put a 2010-2012 bumper cover with its respective foglights, without major modifications? (i.e cutting the fender, replacing the headlight assemblies etc.) I am kind of hoping for just a plug and play type of situation here where I just rip out the old bumper and putting in the new one.
Thank you in advance everyone and stay safe in times of 'vid!

Get the proper model year bumper. You do not want to start doing modifications to make the wrong part fit as it may never fit and the ultimate cost will be far higher than your initial savings. Just get a 2007 bumper cover. There are many used and aftermarket ones available.
