Default Anyone using a DSP with the stock radio?

Is anyone using an aftermarket Digital Signal Processor (DSP) with the stock radio? Curious as to which signals were used as the input to the DSP:

1) line level (outputs from the OEM radio that are inputs to the OEM amplifier)
2) speaker level (outputs from the OEM amplifier)
3) OR, maybe used a Line Out Converter (LOC) in front of the DSP

FYI,

Several people are using Line Out Converters:
  1. Use the high-level outputs from the OEM amplifier as the inputs to the line out converter
  2. People are using the FRONT and SUBWOOFER signals to feed the line out converter a full bandwidth signal
