Default TPMS light on - winter wheels

My winter wheels don't have tpms sensor, tpms light turns on after driving for a while. I get that light turns on because tpms sensors are missing. I wonder if it can cause any other issue other than just showing the tpms light on the dashboard. I could live with the light turned on untill summer, if it doesn't cause any other issues.

lol I thought car was picking up some other cars' tpms signal didn't even know it gets turned on only after driving for a while.

Absence of TPMS won't affect anything. You will just have a TPMS malfunction light on the instrument cluster.

there's a way to have it turned off completely, search for the tread, involves cutting a wire near the passenger foot panel.

Brought my own Denso Sensors to Discount Tire and the did them for $10 each (normally $22 each) with the purchase of two new tires. The whole thing came to $449. I bought the Densos on Amazon and they were about $31 each but with next day shipping. Very happy! 👍 Thanks guys.

Just put some black tape over the TPMS warning when running the winter tires.
