Can someone please tell me where the blower motor resistor is located in my 2008 ES350? I have the blower motor out, hunting all over for it, can't find it.

There's a good reason for that, as it happens. I asked about my AC problem here and read every similar thread I could find, and it seemed like the blower motor resistor was the likely culprit, as someone suggested to me. I ordered one for a 2008 Lexus ES 350. There were plenty of them out there for this model. But then I couldn't find the original to remove for the life of me.

I wound up paying an online "ask a mechanic" service and found, to my surprise, that this model doesn't have one. It's the amplifier that's the issue. I sure wish I could have come up with a diagram in my two hours of web searching, but no luck. Thanks very much for these that you've posted. I expect I'll find them quite useful.

All that's left is the question of why it's so easy to find a part for this car that the car doesn't actually have. I suppose that'll have to remain unanswered.
