Correlation means when the camshaft and the crankshaft are not following each other. It can be one of the sensors but it also can be a problem with the timing, that’s when the timing chain jumps a couple of teeth.
That can be really expensive to fix.
The other posibility is the VVT-i solenoid. It can be stuck because of the dirty oil or debris.

Hello and thank you for the reply also wanted to know the car turns on in the morning but after turning car off a few time when warmed up car will crank but not start it take a few try’s before it actually starts again if I turn it on in the morning and drive it all day without turning off it drives perfectly fine no problems at all does this have something to do with the crankshaft camshaft correlation code p0016

From the reading and research I've done, this is the most likely suspect. Some people rarely or never change their oil which is even more critical in today's VVT-I engines. Oil pressure is utilized to move the cams and change the valve timing, controlled by solenoids. So, it is imperative that oil is changed per the recommended intervals. Varnish, gum, debris, deposits can clog up the workings of the VVT-i system. It is possible that you could flush out some of this with a good additive product, but a better solution is to dismantle the control valve and filter to clean it and test it. If it is beyond cleaning, replacement is necessary.

The timing chain jumping a tooth or two is far less likely.
