Backwards battery installed, already changed fusible link. Help NO CRANK
Appreciate any advice or guidance. A reversed pole battery was installed in my 2008 lexus es350 and blew out a bunch of fuses and the fusible links. I have changed the broken fuses under hood and dash and the alternator fusible link under the hood. When I did the fusible link I got alot of my electronics to now work (NAV,RADIO ETC) but the car will still not Crank at all (also did a new starter). when I enter the car the push button is red and then press the break it goes green like it is ready to start. I hear what seems to be a single click coming from the relay area. Is this an immobilizer issue? or a relay issue? can a relay be damaged from reverse polarity? I am just reading one error code from the ECU for traction control so ECU seems ok i hope lol. PLEASE ANY HELP WITH MY NO CRANK NO RUN SITUATION.

Once you replaced the battery and all the fuses, did you disconnect the battery to reset the ECU? Electricity is fickle and no telling how much electrical damage could have been done besides the obvious stuff like links and fuses. I imagine relays could have been damaged, but you would need a book, tools and know how for testing them. I saw a similar thread on this in the 5th-gen forum, but I don't remember the ultimate solution to the no-start issue. Try searching the forum.
