Default I broke the wire of 2007 ES 350 Crankshaft position sensor connector wire

Hello Everyone,
i need help to fix or buy a new connector or whole wire with connector for 2007 ES350 Crankshaft position sensor was damaged while I replaced the alternator, the wire hardness was broken while the wire was pulled. Your kind help is greatly appreciated.

can I get the wire back to the connector? Hard to find this connector.

I had to perform a similar repair on an Air/Fuel harness connector. Here is what you need:

Unclip the connector and look around the connector housing for a 5 digit code. That’s the part number of the connector. Add your code to this format 90980-XXXXX to find the housing online.

As for the wire and terminal, you can either make your own or purchase a crimped replacement wire from Lexus. Here is a list of replacement terminals from Lexus.

I made my own replacement wire and terminal from spare parts I had laying around. I used KSVLooms for my terminals. You can contact them at sales@ksvlooms.com once you have a connector part number to see if they can send you a repair kit.

If you make your own wire you would need a crimping tool for automotive use. I found one made by IWISS on Amazon.

Your connector should still be good enough to reuse unless you cracked the plastic. You’ll need to take it apart and remove the broken terminal from the housing.
