I have a couple of rust spots around the License plate panel/mount/assembly (various names on different parts sites) and was wondering if anyone had any experience on how to remove it since the rust is also on the metal between that part and the trunk underneath.

Here's the part (7680133122D0) (Rust spots are on the 2 bottom corners where it meets the trunk)
