Default Replaced my window switch and now the car wont start

Hi everyone,

I had a bad passenger window switch (drivers door side)and after trying to do the reset a few times the window switch still wouldn't work. Popped out the old switch and replaced it with a good used switch no problem. The passengers window now works great. I test the drivers window and it works but the rear windows now aren't working. No problem Ill just do the reset for those 2 windows but before I get to do that the car dash security light comes on and the car now wont turn over.

To recap
There was nothing wrong with the car before I swapped the drivers window switches.
The same serial number on the back of the replacement switch.
So what should I be looking for and should I remove the replacement switch?

Well its fixed. I guess the 6 year old battery died in the 10 minutes i had the door open to fix the window switch. The auto headlights were on as it was in the garage and thats what did it.
