Hey all. I was just interested to see if anyone has tinnitus and drive a ES 350? How good is it a car for someone like that, reactive to vibration and sound.

I have tinnitus, although not bad, but I find my car very quiet and pleasing that way, i.e., with the top up. I do have hearing aids so any outside noise is amplified, but still low compared to my bike or prior cars.
Not sure if that's what you want to know.![Confused](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/confused.gif)

Thats helpful thanks. Its more being smooth as vibration kills my ears. Quiet also. Verts louder so (didnt know they made a es350 in one how cool) saloon would be better in terms of sound.

My tinnitus isn't severe, just average from being around jets. My ES350 has zero vibrations and very little noise after doing a pre-oil change Seafoam treatment. I plan on changing the transmission fluid soon to smooth out the ride even more. Overall it's about as quiet and smooth you'll get in a 15 year old car.

Are you looking to get rid of your LS and replacing it with a ES because it will be better for your tinnitus? I would suspect any LS would always be smoother and quieter than any ES.

my wife's ES isn't as quiet as my GX, but no vibrations, no problemo regarding tinnitus. why selling or trading LS460? IMO, pre-2013, LS460 is absolutely one of the best looking cars ever made.

I have the sports model with 19 inch wheels, it is not exactly as quiet as some, (loaner hybrids) but it is surprisingly noisy when there are cross winds. But it doesn’t trigger my tinnitus. Certainly not like at my work, in the LA Phil.

I have tinnitus caused by emf. Smart meters, cell phones, etc. We moved out to the country to lessen the impact, and it helped greatly. Cell towers where we used to live were everywhere. Anyway, we have a toyota sienna 2014 with that accident avoidance radar with the indicators on the side mirrors. I have to turn it off or it drives me nuts. But also I find the vans bluetooth is very disturbing. It helps to turn off my iphones bluetooth, otherwise the van is constantly communicating making the tinnitus worse. Newer vehicles coat the windows with silver to help with greenhouse affect. I suspect this can amplify cell phone signals inside the vehicle. Its a much more complex topic for those with ear ringing.

The idler pulleys on the ES350 chirp and need to be changed in time. Otherwise, after the ignition start of the es350 which is rather noisy, a quiet and smooth ride.
