2008 ES 350 Cam Sensor Pigtail Rewire?
I was changing my spark plug over the weekend and forgot to un-clip the cam sensor in the back of the engine and pulled the yellow-red-black wires from their housing. It's close to the rear (bank 1) last spark plug on the driver side. I think it's cyl #5, exhaust cam.
I went to the junk yard and bought a replacement connector. I need help on rewiring it correctly. Below is a picture of my broken wires.
I found this post https://www.clublexus.com/forums/es-...is-sensor.html which suggested the pin1=yellow, pin2=black, pin3=red, but then the person the followed it said it didn't work and didn't post a final resolution, so I am not sure if that correct. There's also this thread https://www.clublexus.com/forums/es-...lfunction.html, which suggest the same pin1=yellow, pin2=black, pin3=red,
I also found this post https://www.justanswer.com/toyota/af...007-lexus.html which showed a diagram for an 07 ES350, but had the pin1=yellow, pin2=red, pin3=black.
Now I really don't know which one is right.
Anyone ran into similar issue and wouldn't mind share their re-wiring job. thanks.

you're right, the info from this link https://www.justanswer.com/toyota/af...007-lexus.html had the pin layout as 1-3-2, but still, 1=yellow, 3=red, 2=black. That does match up with the info on ecs.pdf file you provided. thanks for the help. I'll give this a shot (fingers and toes crossed)
Update: 11/10/2022
I purchased a depinning tool kit from Amazon and was able to pull out the pins. Then I insert the pulled off wires back into each pin and soldered them on.
I inserted them back into the plug housing in the order: 1=yellow, 2=black, 3=red. The red water seals were not tightly pushed into each hold as they were.
Other than that, the wires seem to be pretty strong. The car is all back together now. I ran the engine for about 25 mins, no cam sensor codes.
One note for future readers: make sure to have all the vacuum lines hooked up. I was eager to start the engine and forgot to hook up 2 vacuum lines.
That caused the check engine light to come on with some mis-firing codes due to engine running lean and the engine wouldn't idle correctly. When I
got out and looked, I heard some hissing, then realized the two vacuum lines not hooked up. I hooked them up, then cleared the error codes.
That seem to resolve the issue. The car is idling and running normal now.
